When I walked into Escuela Yavne, the first thing I observed was that all of the signs and notices were written in Spanish, English, and Hebrew. Immediately this communicated to me that Yavne is an inclusive environment, wanting to make all feel comfortable there. Everyone I met was extremely happy, helpful, and kind. The purpose of my visit was to capture video of high school students explaining how Leader in Me and the 7 Habits had impacted their lives. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with your students! It was very clear that not only do they have a strong knowledge of the 7 Habits, but that they live them each and every day. And they had so much confidence in themselves—something not always common in students their age. I was blown away by the projects they are doing as well. In fact, I commented to my husband on the phone that night, “These kids are going to change the world!” And I truly believe they will. They are smart, dedicated, talented, ambitious, kind, outward-thinking, organized, articulate, and synergistic. They can do anything they set their minds to. It was a sheer joy to visit your school, get to know them, and see the greatness that is happening at Yavne. Thank you for having me!

Cuando entré a la Escuela Yavne, lo primero que observé fue que todos los letreros estan escritos en español, inglés y hebreo. Inmediatamente esto me comunicó que Yavne es un ambiente inclusivo, que desea hacer que todos se sientan cómodos allí. Todos la gente que conocí fue extremadamente alegre, atentos y amables. El propósito de mi visita fue grabar un video de estudiantes de prepa explicando cómo Leader en Me y los 7 Hábitos habían impactado sus vidas. ¡Estoy impresionada con sus estudiantes! Quedó muy claro que no solo tienen un gran conocimiento de los 7 Hábitos, sino que los viven todos los días. Y tenían tanta confianza en sí mismos, algo que no siempre es común en los estudiantes de su edad. Me quedé impresionada por los proyectos que están haciendo también. De hecho, esa noche le comenté a mi esposo por teléfono: “¡Estos niños van a cambiar el mundo!” Y realmente creo que lo harán. Son inteligentes, dedicados, talentosos, ambiciosos, amables, orientados hacia el exterior, organizados, articulados y sinérgicos. Pueden hacer cualquier cosa que se propongan. Fue una gran alegría visitar su escuela, conocer a los estudiantes y ver la grandeza que está sucediendo en Yavne. ¡Gracias por recibirme!
